Postmarketing surveillance by the FDA's verification process revealed that the products lack a valid Certificate of Product Notification (CPN) as of Oct. 26.

As these unauthorized cosmetics skipped the FDA's notification process, the agency cannot guarantee their quality or safety.

The FDA emphasized that the use of such non-compliant products may pose serious health risks to consumers, potentially arising from prohibited ingredients or contamination by heavy metals.

These potential hazards could lead to severe reactions, including skin irritation, itchiness, anaphylactic shock, and even organ failure, it warned.

In response to these concerning findings, the public is strongly urged not to purchase the specified unauthorized cosmetic products.

Furthermore, until complete compliance with its rules and regulations is attained, all affected establishments have been instructed by the FDA to stop distributing these illegal cosmetic products.
