Lighting the Christmas spirit
To kick off the shopping season, Ayala Malls organized a series of tree-lighting ceremonies across its numerous properties nationwide in early November.
The spaces in Ayala Malls Circuit, One Ayala, Greenbelt, Glorietta, and more were all aglow with festive cheer and lights. Provincial malls such as Ayala Center Cebu, Ayala Malls Abreeza in Davao, and Ayala Malls Centrio in Cagayan de Oro, to name a few, also joined in the festivities.
Recent noteworthy ceremonies at Ayala Malls featured a Christmas show with UST singers and crooner Christian Bautista at Greenbelt. Additionally, the Dior Tree lighting ceremony took place at the same property on Nov. 16.
Keep an eye out for exciting events in Greenbelt, including the upcoming Taste of Holidays event and Holiday Shopping promos in collaboration with partner bank HSBC in December.
Over at Glorietta, December will bring the unveiling of an Advent calendar event, a "Santa comes to life" video at the LED Activity Center, an Around the Glo Mallwide Sale, and a Christmas Bespoke Market.
Not to forget our mallgoers in nearby Manila City, Ayala Malls Manila Bay will feature a Santa Village at the Lumbera Atrium, Ice Skating at the Central Garden Ring, and a Feast and Flavors fair at the open grounds.
Since the property is near Manila Bay, what better way to celebrate the season of cheer than with a fireworks display, set to be shown on Dec. 3, 10, 17, 25, 31, and Jan. 7.
Northerners, don’t fret. In Trinoma, the seat of Ayala Malls North of Metro Manila, there will be a Christmas concert featuring the Philippine Madrigal Singers on Nov. 26 at 6:00 p.m. at the mall’s Activity Center. After that, there will be a series of Yuletide Rhythms Concerts at the Trinoma Garden Restaurants in December.
From the North to the South of the Metro, Alabang Town Center will also host community shows from Child’s Home, Ecole Ballet, and Dance Theater Manille from Dec. 8 to 10.
For the students and young-at-heart, UP Town Center, now the default get-together place of “Iskos” and Ateneans in Quezon City, will have a fireworks display on Dec. 23 and 30 at 7:00 p.m.
Counting down the days
This coming December, Ayala Malls has a lineup of themed weekends dedicated to the joy of giving. These events include delightful Christmas treats, opportunities to meet Santa Claus for the kids, as well as expert gift-wrapping services. There will be Christmas sales, a giant lantern fair, chorales and concerts, creative craft stations, and much more.
Apart from these fairs and shows, Ayala Malls will feature themed activities like the "12 Days of Joyful Gifting" which provides a daily dose of Christmas entertainment and cherished gifts leading up to Christmas - a sort of live Advent calendar.
Additionally, the "Presents of Gratitude" initiative expresses Ayala Malls' heartfelt appreciation by extending gifts to community heroes, including frontline workers, security guards, sales personnel, Grab and Lalamove drivers, and others who have been guiding lights in challenging times.
Ayala Malls is also launching the Ayala Malls Exchange Gift Activation as they embrace the season of giving and gifting-it-forward. This activity enables consumers to purchase a gift from an Ayala Malls merchant and participate in the community exchange gift activity. While doing so, they can also opt to gift-it-forward and pledge an amount to the Ayala Foundation charities targeted to children.
