ALLHC completes first phase of Laguindingan Technopark

Industrial real estate developer AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. (ALLHC) reported that it has completed the land development works for Phase 1 of the Laguindingan Technopark, the first industrial park in Mindanao.

In a statement, the firm said the Technopark forms part of Ayala Land's master-planned mixed-use development, Habini Bay and is located in Barangays Moog and Tubajon in Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental.

Laguindingan Technopark is ALLHC’s first industrial park in Mindanao. Phase 1 is registered with the Board of Investments (BOI) as a Domestic Industrial Zone.

The Technopark, with over 105 hectares of total gross land area, is geared towards catering to light and medium, non-polluting industries. 

Phase 1, covering 62 hectares, has been fully developed, including the access and road network, creating an ideal environment for businesses seeking a dynamic setting and a strategic location for their operations.

“We eagerly anticipate the continued progress and ultimate realization of Laguindingan Technopark. With its strategic positioning and all-encompassing growth, it stands as an ideal destination for enterprises in Northern Mindanao,” said ALLHC President and CEO Robert S. Lao.

Laguindingan Technopark offers a host of advantages to businesses as the development is supported by the Board of Investments (BOI) and the local government unit (LGU). 

Apart from competitive manpower and utilities costs in the region, the Technopark’s proximity to the City of Cagayan de Oro where regional offices are situated also adds to the ease of doing business. 

The local and regional offices are keen on assisting potential investors for their building permits, business licenses, and other essential documents.

The Technopark is also adjacent to the Laguindingan Airport, which recently received the approval of the Department of Transportation (DOTr) for the expansion of the its passenger terminal building.

Additionally, the development being approximately 36 kilometers from the Cagayan de Oro Port via the Butuan-Cagayan-Iligan Road further enhances its accessibility and connectivity.

Moreover, being a BOI-registered Domestic Industrial Zone adds further appeal to potential investors, providing attractive incentives and facilitating smoother operations.
