Pop Diva Kuh Ledesma will serenade her fans again with the best OPM hits through her concert dubbed "I Love OPM" at the Music Museum in Greenhills on Nov. 25.

During an intimate media conference at the La Famiglia Restaurant in Promenade Mall in Quezon City on Nov. 15, Kuh shared with the media that doing the concert again is a way of giving thanks to the composers and musicians who worked with her throughout the years.

"This concert is my way to thank all the composers who chose me to sing their songs. Actually kapag kinakanta yung songs nila nagkakaroon rin ng royalties na yung mga compositor na gumawa nung kanta," Kuh said.

Kuh is known as OPM's pop chanteuse for her iconic songs, "Till I Met You," "One More Try," and "Ako ay Pilipino," which up to this day is still relevant to the younger generation.

Musical guests during the concert are classic balladeer Marco Sison, the Philippines King of Soul, actor Janno Gibbs, YouTube sensation Mark Carpio, opera singer Kathy Mas, and singer-actress-comedienne extraordinaire Mitch Valdes.

Music & Magic reunion

The year 2023 saw many artists record new music and perform live concerts and reunions for their fans, following the pandemic.

During the media conference, Kuh was asked if she would do a reunion concert with her former group Music and Magic. Here's what she had to say about it:

"Hopefully, If I rerun [I love OPM] the concert, why not? We were actually talking about it, pero I was thinking of inviting Celeste sana pero she may be in another show, pwede rin si Basil," Kuh said.

Kuh admitted that she is a fan of the two singers and hopes to perform with them in the future.

"Mga fan ako ng mga yan ehhh, nauna sila sa akin and gustong-gusto ko talaga yung music nila," she added.

(I'm a fan of those guys; they were ahead of me, and I really like their music)

Music and Magic became the pivotal point in Kuh's music career until she decided to take on a solo career. The band continued without Kuh and disbanded in 1986. Since then, the original members of the group have pursued individual careers in the music industry.

In 2020, the band reunited for a one-night concert to celebrate the band's 40th anniversary which was held at Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City.

"I Love OPM" the concert can also be touted as a nostalgic homecoming for Kuh. As the title suggests, Kuh’s love for OPM comes shining through once again.
