The University of the Philippines-Diliman (UPD) has also extended the suspension of in-person classes until Friday, Nov. 24, as per the Office of the Chancellor's announcement.

Members of the Pinagkaisang Samahan ng mga Tsuper at Operators Nationwide (PISTON) started their strike last Nov. 20 to protest the government's deadline to consolidate drivers and operators of traditional jeepneys into either a corporation or a cooperative.
