Believing that every Pinay is the boss of her own life, Pinay Girl Boss Academy recently recognized GMA Network’s Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group, and President of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes as a Pinay Girl Boss Champion.

The latest online platform that aims to inspire, educate, and nurture Filipinas to become great leaders and entrepreneurs, Pinay Girl Boss Academy kicked off its November 6 launch by awarding women who best represent these qualities.

Entertainment and industry leader Gozon-Valdes was one of the recipients, which included Alice Eduardo, Atty. Emmeline Aglipay-Villar, Maria Margarita Montemayor-Nograles, and Dr. Aivee Aguilar-Teo.

“Atty. Annette Gozon has been very active in promoting Filipino talent, and of course, her work with Kapuso Foundation sobrang daming natutulungan because she has a big heart and she is really a Pinay Girl Boss," according to CEO and founder of Pinay Girl Boss Atty. Tina de Guzman.

Receiving the award for Atty. Gozon-Valdes was GMA Kapuso Foundation’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Ms. Rikki Escudero-Catibog.

Atty. Gozon-Valdes has also been a member of GMA Network’s Board of Directors since 2000.
