A fire has hit the 4th floor of the Pasig City Hall on Thursday, Nov. 23, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.

Pasig City Hall employees are seen outside the building.
According to the BFP, the fire started at 9:18 a.m. and was declared fire out at 9:26 a.m.
In an advisory by the city government, all city hall operations have been suspended as smoke was still coming out from the building despite the fire out declaration.
"Ang mga non-essential personnel ay pinayuhan nang umuwi, at ang mga essential personnel para sa pag-manage ng insidente na lamang ang required na manatili sa city hall (All non essential personnel are advised to go home already and only essential personnel needed for the managing of the incident are required to remain at the city hall)," it said.
Mayor Vico Sotto ordered this to ensure the safety of all city government workers.
Arson investigators are still determining the cause of the fire and the estimated damage to property.
