DOH warns vs 'fake' Facebook page

The Department of Health (DOH) issued a warning to the public on Wednesday, Nov. 22 regarding a "fake" Facebook page called "DOH Health News—Philippines."

It said the misleading social media account is pretending to be the DOH’s official Facebook page.

“The said page is fake and is not in any way or form affiliated with the DOH,” it said in its official Facebook page.

Moreover, the health department urged the public to disregard any information disseminated by the deceptive page and directed them to rely on authentic sources.

To stay updated with accurate and verified posts and announcements, the public is advised to visit the official DOH channels, including the DOH official website, Facebook (DOHgovph), and Twitter, accessible through www.doh.gov.ph.
