Couple nabbed in possession of P3.4M shabu

PAMPANGA -- A couple involved in the bulk distribution of shabu in Metro Manila and nearby towns of Bulacan was arrested after they yielded some P3,400,000 worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Hugo Perez, Trece Martirez, Cavite on Tuesday, Nov. 21.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Pampanga identified the arrested suspects as Aljune Mangulamnas and Aida Mangulamnas, both of Trece Martirez, Cavite.

Recovered from them were plastic bags containing more or less 500 grams of shabu with an estimated market value of P3.4 million, and the marked money used by the undercover agent.

The operation was jointly conducted by the PDEA Pampanga Provincial Office, PDEA Cavite, and the local office.

Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.
