Blackpink members looked like princesses during their visit to Buckingham Palace
The South Korean girl group also got a special shoutout from HM King Charles III

Blackpink's Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé know how to make a chic entrance. During a state banquet at Buckingham Palace, the South Korean superstars graced the event wearing stunning garbs, making them look like royal princesses.

A formal event calls for regal ’fits. And for the occasion, the Blackpink members ditched their glamazon stage looks and donned elegant and ethereal pieces. Jisoo and Rosé went for classic black dresses, a textured puff-sleeved garb from Dior’s resort 2024 collection, and the latter in a sweetheart strapless gown. Jennie was divine in her immaculate white long-sleeved dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline. While Lisa brought color and sparkle to the event through her aquamarine dress with a flowy cape courtesy of George Hobeika.
Led by the members of the British Royal Family, the special banquet was in honor of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and First Lady Kim Keon. During HM King Charles III's speech, he lauded the country's contribution to pop culture and its push for sustainability. He even gave a special mention to Blackpink members, which earned a surprised reaction from the K-pop superstars.
“It is especially inspiring to see Korea’s younger generation embrace the cause,” King Charles III said. “I applaud Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé, better known collectively as Blackpink, for their role in bringing the message of environmental sustainability to a global audience as Ambassadors for the U.K.’s Presidency of COP 26, and later as advocates for the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals.”
“I can only admire how they can prioritize these vital issues, as well as being global superstars,” HM the King added.
