2 men arrested for drug possession, frustrated murder in Las Piñas and Cavite

Two men were arrested in separate operations against wanted persons for drug possession and frustrated murder in Las Piñas and Pasay City, respectively.

The Southern Police District (SPD) identified the arrested suspects as alias Zaldy, 39, ranked as the top six wanted person in Las Piñas; and Buboy, who was ranked as top eight in Pasay City. 

The SPD said Zaldy was arrested at around 4:00 p.m. along Cleanville Compound, Barangay Manuyo,  Las Piñas City on Nov. 20 by a combined team of Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) and Station Intelligence Section (SIS) for drug possession.

He was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Anne Anne Beatrice Aguana Balmaceda of Las Piñas Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 200 on October 13, 2023 for service of sentence.

Zaldy was immediately detained at the Las Piñas police custodial facility after his arrest.

In Pasay City, alias Buboy who is facing a frustrated murder case, was arrested by members of the WSS at around 1:20 p.m. on Nov. 21 along Pagsibol, Barangay Sabang, Naic Cavite.

The suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Elenita Carlos Dimaguila, of Pasay RTC Branch 298 on May 10, 2023 with a recommended bail of P200,000.

Buboy was immediately detained at the Pasay police custodial facility.
