The much loved and celebrated singer-songwriter Odette Quesada is set to revisit her milestones in the “Odette Quesada - All Hits: The Repeat,” the 40th Anniversary Celebration at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater at Circuit Makati as she leads us to another major throwback sing-along party. Her lineup of guests is nothing short of stellar — among them Martin Nievera, ZsaZsa Padilla, and Gary Valenciano on Nov. 24 and Randy Santiago, The Company, and Lani Misalucha on Nov. 25 with Raymond Lauchengco, Bituin Escalante, Arman Ferrer, plus Nina Campos and Mike Shimamoto as front acts on both days. Fe Delos Reyes will also be one of the guests in both shows.

Questions for Odette:
1. How does it feel coming back to Manila for the Repeat of your All Hits 40th Anniversary concert?
It feels like a warm, giant hug!
2. How different will this Repeat be from your successful September run? What can the audience expect from this two-night Repeat?
It's both different and the same. The songs are the same, give or take a few slight changes or additions to the repertoire and guests.
3. What is your reaction to the brisk sales of tickets for this Repeat? (SOLD OUT on the same week tickets were out!2 months before the concert) To what/ whom do you attribute this to?
There was a lot of heartwarming buzz for the first show we did in September that carried over by word of mouth. So when AiP decided to do a repeat, all they had to do was book the venue, and people bought up the tickets right away without even a mention of who was going to be with me in the show. I think people just wanted to hear the songs played live again and celebrate the songs with me. As I have said before, once a song is set out to the universe for all to hear, it no longer belongs to the songwriter but to the listener.
4. You’ll be with your mom on this trip back to Manila. How significant is this to you? What do you look forward to doing here with her?
Yes, my mom, Thelma, will be with me on this trip. And If she feels up to it, she will watch the show.
5. You are returning to Manila - at the heart of Christmas preparations, what do you miss about Filipino Christmas? Do you have a Christmas song coming?
I do miss spending Christmas in the Philippines. It feels more festive and meaningful. Unfortunately, I have not done that in 23 years. I don't have a Christmas song in the offing. Maybe next year
. (But who knows, I may get carried away with the Christmas feeling.)
6. Will there still be a Repeat of The Repeat or a Tour of this ALL HITS,
40th Anniversary Celebration?
The repeat is on Nov 24, and the repeat of the repeat is on Nov 25.
AiP (the producer) plans to tour this show in the middle of next year, as early as May, on the West Coast and perhaps the East Coast. Other dates and countries, perhaps in July and September.
7. What is your message to your loyal supporters awaiting your activities?
I am amazed by the overwhelming response and support from the fans and the artists who have been so generous with their time and talent. Grateful to my producers for allowing me to celebrate this milestone in such a grandiose way.
