The Flying Titans bucked a slow start and clamped down on the hapless Cargo Movers behind the efforts of Sisi Rondina and Isa Molde to hike their win-loss tally to 7-1.

The win tied them at second place with Chery Tiggo and boosted their semifinal chances as they trail half a game behind unbeaten Creamline (7-0).

It also pushed F2 Logistics deeper into the standings as the Cargo Movers absorbed their third straight defeat for 4-5, putting their semis bid in peril.

Rondina remained a force to reckon with for the Flying Titans firing all her 21 points at the attack line, while Molde was equally unstoppable with her 13-point production.

Kat Tolentino and Cherry Rose Nunag also stepped up for Choco Mucho with 10 points apiece, even as Deanna Wong provided all-around plays by unloading 24 of the team’s 27 excellent sets.

The Flying Titans torched the net by erupting for 63 kills, almost twice the offensive output of the Cargo Movers who managed only 36.

None from F2 Logistics scored in double figures with skipper Aby Maraño finishing with nine points.
