Andrada chalked up a career-high of 26 points, which was built on a 6-of-11 shooting from beyond the arc, while Jacob Cortez spearheaded a fourth quarter rally to help the Red Lions list their third consecutive win for an 11-6 win-loss record.

With the victory, San Beda also sent Perpetual out of the Final Four race even as the latter scored a 75-60 win over San Sebastian earlier.

Cortez poured in 16 points with four rebounds, seven assists, and three steals while Jomel Puno listed eight points and six rebounds.

San Beda head coach Yuri Escueta said that his wards drew inspiration from their disappointing 71-69 loss on Mapua last Nov. 12.

“Sabi ko nga we’ve been playing well since Mapua game, panalo din dapat kami do’n” Escueta said.

“But again, we learned from that [loss], we’ve been able to bring [our best] in our past few games,” he added.

It was a close game between both teams in the opening minutes of the final frame, with Lyceum's Enoch Valdez and Shawn Umali delivering the goods for the Intramuros-based squad to keep them within five, 50-55.

But San Beda rode the hot hands of Cortez, who engineered a 17-6 rally in the fourth quarter which practically sealed the deal.

Valdez finished with 17 points and seven rebounds while Umali added 14.

LPU ended the season with a 13-5 card.
