Two men reportedly involved in a cellphone shop robbery and another for stealing a safe holding money and other items in the towns of Bustos and Paombong, Bulacan respectively were arrested by the Bulacan police on Sunday, Nov. 19.
Reports submitted by the Bustos police to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, said that two individuals were arrested for robbery and illegal possession of a deadly weapon related to the Omnibus Election Code.

Police investigators said the suspects allegedly robbed a man at a cellphone shop in Barangay Malamig, Bustos using a small jungle knife, and then fled onboard a motorcycle.
The Bustos police swiftly responded and arrested the suspects and seized the stolen five cellular phones; a motorcycle, and one small jungle knife used in the crime.
Meanwhile, the Paombong police successfully captured a 29-year-old suspect who robbed the house of a 70-year-old woman in Barangay San Jose.
Investigation showed that the suspect broke into the victim's residence while she was sleeping.
The suspect forcibly entered through the house's terrace and utilized a metal saw to open and steal a safe containing money and other personal belongings.
With the help of closed television footage, the suspect was arrested with a cache of stolen items, such as watches, bracelets, and gold jewelry worth approximately P100,000.
