Mayor Emi administers oath of office to newly-elected barangay officials

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano officiated in the mass oath-taking of the newly-elected 1,608 barangay officials on Monday, Nov. 20, in Pasay City.

Rubiano reminded the elected officials to have a vision for the barangay and the city.

She also asked them to motivate all members of the barangay for them to work better.

The mayor also shared with them the vision of the city government to earn unity, which is the collective mission of Tapat na Paglilingkod and the Liga ng mga Barangay.

Rubiano said she expects the new set of barangay leaders to give better services to the city.

“Kayo ay nandirito dahil sa inyong mga plataporma, sa inyong mga plano, at syempre, dahil sa inyong mabubuting pusong walang ibang hangarin kung hindi ang tumulong sa pagangat ng antas ng buhay ng bawat Pasayeño. ("You are here because of your platforms, your plans, and of course, to help lift the standard of living of every Pasayeño. In your term ahead, it is best to Envision, Motivate, and Integrate (EMI), " Rubiano said.
