TACLOBAN CITY - Amid the rains being experienced in some parts of Eastern Visayas due to the shear line, a magnitude 5.6 earthquake was felt in Calbiga, Samar, on Monday, Nov. 20.

Intensity V was felt in Catbalogan City, Samar, while Intensity IV was reported in Palo, Leyte.
A source from Calbiga town said people rushed outside their homes when they felt the tremor.
Shoppers in a mall in this city were seen running out of the establishment when the earthquake was felt around 12:57 p.m.
The earthquake, which was tectonic, has not caused any damage
