Honor departed loved ones, lead meaningful lives --- VP Duterte

Vice President Sara Duterte enjoined the citizenry to honor the memory of the departed on All Souls' Day by leading more meaningful lives.

In a message on Nov. 2, Duterte joined the Christian faithful in the observance of All Souls' Day, hoping that it gives families an opportunity to celebrate the lives of the departed together.

"May this become an opportunity for Filipino families to be together to celebrate the lives of the departed and offer earnest prayers for the salvation of their souls,"  the Vice President said.

"Let us honor the memories of those who have gone before us by leading more meaningful lives guided by the values of love, forgiveness, and peace," she added.

She also wished Filipinos a blessed observance of the holiday.
