Here are the 20 top favorite Korean TV, video streaming shows in October

Polling firm Gallup Korea released the results of its monthly survey of the top favorite Korean TV and video streaming shows.

From Oct 17 to 19, the firm asked 1,000 respondents aged 18 and older in South Korea to name their favorite broadcast video program.

The Korean drama "My Dearest" placed No. 1 with 3.7 percent, rising up six places from the survey in September.

“My Dearest” is a period drama starring Namkoong Min, Ahn Eun-jin and airs on Korean TV network MBC.

Placing second is MBC’s entertainment show “I Live Alone” with 3.2 percent followed by tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” with 2.7 percent.

ENA and SBS Plus’ “I am Solo” placed fourth with 2.4 percent followed by SBS’ “My Little Old Boy” and MBN’s “I Am a Natural Person” with 2.1 percent.

Gallup Korea has been conducting the monthly survey since January 2013.

Here are the 20 favorite Korean TV and streaming video programs in October:

2. I Live Alone (entertainment, MBC) - 3.2%

3. You Quiz on the Block (entertainment, tvN) - 2.7%

4. I am Solo (entertainment, ENA-SBS Plus) - 2.4%

5. My Little Old Boy (entertainment, SBS) - 2.1%

7. Strong Girl Nam-soon (drama, JTBC) - 2%

8. Live Your Own Life (drama, KBS2) - 1.8%

- 2 Days 1 Night (entertainment, KBS2) - 1.8%
