FINSI accelerates network tower construction

Fiber Infrastructure and Network Services Inc. (FINSI), a subsidiary of Globe group’s shared services firm Asticom Group of Companies, said it is accelerating its tower builds to provide enhanced connectivity to the public.

According to the firm, its towers in Batangas and Laguna are set to complete construction within the coming month, and will be integrated for nationwide use in an as of yet undisclosed date.

In the first six months of the year, the firm finished construction of its towers in Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon (CALABARZON), Central Luzon, Cagayan, and Ilocos Norte.

FINSI General Manager Marc Kerveillant said in a statement that the firm is “dedicated to contributing to the nation's progress by strategically erecting towers in key areas in the country.”

“These efforts have played a pivotal role in strengthening businesses and local communities by providing them with improved connectivity,” and supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) No. 9, said the firm.

Asticom Group of Companies President and CEO Mharicar Castillo-Reyes remarked, “as FINSI extends its reach beyond the telecommunications sector and ventures into the tower erection industries, our ultimate goal remains to bridge the connectivity gap and foster nationwide growth and progress."

Aside from infrastructure, FINSI has teamed up with companies to implement sustainable projects, such as its partnership with an electric vehicle company for the country’s first battery-swapping system network for electric scooters.

FINSI’s initiatives also offer project management and implementation solutions, network and infrastructure management, quality and safety oversight, and the management of facilities, assets, and materials.
