Cops arrest man for stabbing police officer in QC

Operatives of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Anonas Station (PS 9) arrested a man for allegedly stabbing a police officer on Tuesday, Oct. 31.

The police identified the suspect as Brian Boldero, a resident of Agham Road, Quezon City.

Based on the report, the operatives responded to a call from a concerned citizen about the suspect's assault on the victim, identified as Francisco Naquita, in Brgy. UP Campus, Quezon City.

The attack, which happened at Tent City Pook Arboretum, Brgy. UP Campus at around 2:40 p.m., resulted in Naquita sustaining multiple injuries.

Responding lawmen managed to get hold of the suspect but he resisted and stabbed one of the officers.

Police confiscated a 5.5-inch combat knife.

The suspect will be charged with serious physical injury and direct assault with frustrated homicide.
