VP Sara to visit earthquake-affected areas in South Cotabato
Vice President Sara Duterte will visit General Santos and Glan after a 6.8-magnitude earthquake jolted parts of Mindanao on Friday, Nov. 17.

Duterte said she will be checking on the families of the victims who died in the strong quake. She will also visit those who were injured.
"Pupunta ako sa GenSan at sa Glan bibisitahin namin yung mga pamilya ng namatayan at yung mga injured na nasa hospital (We will go to GenSan and Glan to visit the families of those who dies and those who were injured and are currently at the hospitals)," Duterte said in an interview on Sunday.
This followed the meeting she convened as the caretaker of the government on Saturday.
She said she held a meeting with the response clusters and other agencies involved in the response operations for the Mindanao quake.
Duterte has been the government's caretaker while President Marcos is in the United States for a three-city working visit.
On Friday, Sarangani and Davao Occidental were hit by a 6.8-magnitude earthquake.
