The Parañaque City government conducted the fourth “Binyagang Bayan” at Our Lady of the Airways Parish Church in Pasay City on Saturday, Nov. 18. 

Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez said a total of 109 children aged seven year-old and below joined the "Binyagang Bayan."

The mayor and his wife, Aileen Claire Olivarez, served as godparents of the children during the event.

Olivarez said the city government also distributed gifts to children after the baptism ceremony.

He said the “Binyagang Bayan” is part of the celebration of the “National Children’s Month” in cooperation with the Local Civil Registry.

The mayor congratulated the parents of the children after the ceremony and welcomed them to the Christian world. 

Olivarez said a Jolibee mascot also came to entertain the children after the ceremony.
