P1.7 million 'shabu' seized in Bulacan

Around P1,781,600 worth of alleged shabu was seized by the authorities last Friday, Nov. 17, from two suspects in Balagtas, Bulacan. 
 

In reports submitted to Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, the arrested suspected drug peddlers were identified as alias "JC" and alias "JR," both of the said village.

Col. Arnedo said the Balagtas police arrested the two during the buy-bust operation they conducted at about 9:10 p.m. on Friday in Barangay San Juan of the said municipality. 

During the operation, approximately 262 grams of suspected shabu, along with marked money and drug paraphernalia, were confiscated.  
 

The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU).
