Las Piñas LGU welcomes newly elected SK Federation officers

Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar led the oath taking ceremony of the elected Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation Officers on Friday, Nov. 17.

Aguilar served as officer-in-charge during the election of SK Federation Officers which was actively participated by representatives from 20 barangays in the city.

Aguilar said the oath-taking ceremony of young leaders pledges to serve with integrity and dedication, emphasizing their commitment to addressing youth-centric issues and contributing positively to community development.

The mayor urged the officers to focus on innovative solutions for challenges faced by the youth, while Vice Mayor April Aguilar highlighted the unique role these young leaders play in shaping the city's future.

Aguilar said the inauguration of the new SK Federation Officers signifies a step forward in ensuring that the voices of the youth are heard and valued in the city's decision-making processes.
