'Yan pa talaga unahin?' Guanzon sounds off on alleged plot to oust VP Duterte

P3PWD Party-list nominee Rowena Guanzon has heard of the alleged plan in the House of Representatives to impeach Vice President Sara Duterte, but she doesn't think it's worth prioritizing.

P3PWD Party-list nominee Rowena Guanzon has gotten wind of the alleged plan in the House of Representatives to have Vice President Sara Duterte impeached.

She doesn't seem thrilled with the idea, since she believes that solons should focus on other, more important matters.

"I heard meron (there was a) move to impeach VP Sara . Sa dami ng problema ng bansa yan pa talaga unahin nila (With all the problems of the country, they're really going to priotize that)," Guanzon wrote in an X post (formerly Twitter).

Referring to the legislators, she added: "Bawasan nila muna ang mga kickback nila. #mgainutil (They should cut down on their kickbacks first)."

The alleged talks of impeachment against the Vice President was first floated by ACT Teachers Party-List Rep. France Castro. Castro claimed she heard it from informal huddles of her House colleagues, although she later described it as non-serious.

Ranking House members have since come out to deny the impeachment rumors.
