P50,000 reward offered for info on 2 drug suspects who killed cop

CEBU CITY – An unnamed private individual has offered a P50,000 reward to anyone who could provide information that will lead to the arrest of two drug suspects who shot dead Police Corporal Ryan Languido Baculi in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Kinasang-an here past midnight Wednesday, November 15.

Police Col. Percival Zorilla, chief of the Cebu Police Provincial Office (CCPO), welcomed the reward for the arrest of Atong Rafols and Ramil Salazar.

“This will definitely help in our efforts to arrest the two suspects,” said Zorilla.

Baculi, an operative of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit, acted as a poseur-buyer but the subjects detected that he was a policeman and was repeatedly shot.

Zorilla believed that the two suspects are still in Cebu.

The CPPO is closely coordinating with the various units of the Police Regional Office-Central Visayas in the conduct of the manhunt operation against the suspects.

The Cebu City Police Office is also helping in the manhunt operation.
