Most parts of PH to expect rains due to shear line, LPA, 'amihan' --- PAGASA
Most parts of the country will still experience rainy weather conditions due to the effects of the Low-Pressure Area (LPA) inside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR), the shear line, and the northeast monsoon or "amihan."

Weather specialist Daniel James E. Villamil said the LPA inside PAR which was seen 605 kilometers east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar still has a low chance of developing into a tropical cyclone in the following days.
However, the combined effects of the LPA and the shear line---an area where the cold northeasterly winds and the warm easterlies converge---bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao Region.
The public was warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains in the affected areas.
In Cagayan Valley, Apayao, and Bicol Region, cloudy skies with light rains will be felt while in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be expected due to "amihan."
Meanwhile, the rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA also advised the public that possible flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
