Man arrested for creating trouble inside Manila hospital

A man was arrested for assaulting the security officers at the Bagong Ospital ng Maynila in Malate, Manila on Friday morning, Nov. 17.

The Manila Police District-Malate Police Station (MPD PS-9) identified the man as Roland Sedon.

Police said the suspect went to the hospital at 6:10 a.m. to visit his wife.

However, the security guards did not allow him to enter due to the hospital’s visiting policy, but he still insisted to get inside.

Authorities said the suspect shouted at guards, causing disturbance and panic among the hospital staff and other people inside the hospital.

The guards tried to calm him down, but he refused to cooperate and attacked them instead.

The guards later managed to arrest him.

The suspect is now under police custody and will face charges of physical injury and alarms and scandal.
