Jhassy portrays Felipa, a 17-year-old who has the mental capacity of a seven-year-old. She idolizes her older siblings and aspires to follow in their footsteps.

I went through a lot din po getting this role,” she said.

(This is my dream role, I really like it, so I auditioned. I also went through a lot getting this role.)

(Honestly, I thought the role of Felipa was easy, but it wasn't. Because when I was doing it, it was difficult. But it's okay because I really love this role.)

The rising star revealed auditioning for the role of Felipa in "Unspoken Letters." When she got the part, she did a lot of research about the health disorder. She admitted that she was a bit pressured to make this movie because it is not a romance where she has a love interest. But she said she gave it all in making this movie.

"Nag research talaga ako. Sinabihan din ako ng direktor na you have to do your own research kung paano ipo-portray yung character ng maayos.

(I really did research. The director also told me that you have to do your own research on how to portray the character properly. As well as how to portray it without offending anyone. Thanks also to those who helped me in the workshop so I could portray the character.)

The actress said people will learn a lot from this movie. Meron meaning yung kuwento. May matutunan ka about handling a special child at kung paano ka makisama sa pamilya mo."

(It's not just Felipa's story, but it's also a family's story. The story has meaning. You'll learn something about handling a special child and how to get along with your family.)

Jhassy also sang the theme song of "Unspoken Letters" entitled "Hanggang Doon" with MJ Manuel.

When asked what she loves between acting and singing, Jhassy answered: "Acting po ang gusto ko kasi yun talaga ang first love ko po." (I like acting because that's really my first love.)
