Pasay LGU receives Subaybayani Award from DILG

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano received for Pasay City the “Subaybayani Award" from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), the only city in the National Capital Region (NCR) to be given the honor.

The awarding was held at the Sequoia Hotel in Aseana Drive, Parañaque on Nov. 16.

She said the DILG awarded the city government as top overall performer of “Subaybayani Award” for its excellent performance in promoting the responsible implementation of local projects using the Subaybayan portal.

The mayor said the city was named a good example in observing and evaluating practices in delivering efficient services.

Rubiano also congratulated the Pasay Bureau of Fire and Protection under the leadership of Fire Marshall Supt. Mariano Taguiam for receiving a certificate of appreciation from the Civil Service Commission (CSC) for being its partner in honing agile and future-ready servant-heroes.

She said the Pasay BFP received the recognition during the CSC's 123^rd anniversary on Nov. 16.

Taguiam, in receiving the recognition, said the BFP reaffirms and assures the public of its commitment to the "Tapat na Paglilingkod" advocacy of Rubiano towards quality public service for a fire safe and disaster- resilient Pasay City.
