BAYAMBANG, Pangasinan – This town kicked off the Yuletide season here on Friday, November 17, with the opening of the Paskuhan sa Bayambang Christmas display at the municipal plaza grounds witnessed by hundreds of residents.
BAYAMBANG, Pangasinan opened its Christmas display on Friday, November 17.
The event, which started with a thanksgiving mass at the Balon Bayambang Events Center officiated by Saint Vincent Ferrer Church parish priest Fr. Reydentor Mejia, coincided with the birth anniversary of former mayor now Bayambang First Gentleman and SATOM, Dr. Cezar T. Quiambao, and his wedding anniversary with Mayor Niña Jose-Quiambao.
This year’s theme was based on the popular anime Studio Ghibli from Japan.
Mayor Quiambao conceptualized and sponsored the theme using private funds.
A ceremonial lighting ceremony followed and fireworks display capped the event.
The Paskuhan Night Market and Bazaar formally opened in front of the Bayambang Commercial Strip during the event.
