The Department of Health (DOH) confirmed 178 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, Nov. 15, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 4,122,291.

The DOH Covid-19 tracker, however, showed no additional Covid-19-related deaths, maintaining the fatality rate at 1.6 percent.
Based on the data, the country has 3,024 active Covid-19 cases.
It also revealed 310 new recoveries, representing a 98.3 percent recovery rate, with a total of 4,052,521 people having successfully overcome the virus.
Concerning the availability of intensive care unit (ICU) beds designated for Covid-19 patients, the data showed that 8.81 percent of the 1,952 ICU beds are currently occupied.
Non-ICU Covid-19 beds are also in use, with 16.95 percent of the 17,607 available beds being utilized.
The DOH continues to caution the public against becoming complacent in the face of the Covid-19 threat.
The department also stressed the significance of following minimum health standards, such as wearing properly fitting face masks and staying in well-ventilated areas.
DOH advised that individuals exhibiting Covid-19 symptoms should be isolated promptly.
For added protection, it also reminded the public to get their Covid-19 vaccine and booster as soon as possible.
