The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday, Nov. 16, the date and venue for the in-person mass oathtaking ceremony for new social workers.

In a social media post, PRC announced that the oathtaking ceremony for the new social worker will take place in the following cities: Tuguegarao City on Nov. 18; Legazpi City, Albay on Nov. 21; Cebu City on Nov. 22; Davao City, Davao del Sur on Nov. 22; and Butuan City on Nov. 23.

A similar ceremony will be held on Nov. 24 in Iloilo City, Nov. 24 in Zamboanga City, Nov. 27 in General Santos City, Dec. 6 in Iligan City, and Dec. 7 in Cagayan De Oro.

To participate in the face-to-face ceremony, participants must complete the pre-registration process on the PRC website (http://online.prc.gov.ph) before noon on the oathtaking day.
Participants were also required to print the oath form, which includes a generated Quick Response (QR) code, to confirm their attendance.
There will be an option for an online ceremony or special appointment scheduling for individuals who were unable to attend the in-person oathtaking ceremony.
PRC said details about the online ceremony will be posted once the schedule is confirmed.
PRC added that newly inducted social workers must complete their initial registration by making an online appointment on the official PRC website.
