20 wanted persons fall in Laguna


CAMP GEN. PACIANO RIZAL, Santa Cruz, Laguna – Police arrested 20 most wanted persons in a one-day manhunt operation in this province on Tuesday, November 14.

In a report to Police Regional Office 4-A Director Police Brig. Gen. Paul Kenneth Lucas, Police Col. Harold Depositar, Laguna police chief, said among those arrested were three most wanted persons on the regional level, identified as alias Duke, Philip, and Wendel, who were facing statutory rape and rape; two on the  provincial level for theft and statutory rape, and two on the city and municipal levels for frustrated homicide and acts of lasciviousness in relation to Republic Act 7610 (Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act).

Suspects are in the custody of arresting units.

Depositar said courts that issued their warrants have been informed of their arrest.

“Laguna PNP continues to intensify operations against those who hide from the law to give immediate justice to those who become victims. We assure the families of the victims that these accused will be held accountable to the law,” said Depositar.
