GUIMBA, Nueva Ecija – Ten members of the Liga ng Mangagawang Bukid sa Gitnang Luzon (LMB-AMGL) under the Kilusan ng Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP) withdrew support to Communist Party of the Philippines-New People’s Army-National Democratic Front in Barangay Nagpandayan here on Wednesday, November 15.
Police Col. Richard Caballero, Nueva Ecija police chief, said that their withdrawal of support was facilitated by personnel from the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company and supporting units.
They pledged allegiance to the government and denounced the prolonged deception imposed by the CPP-NPA-NDF.
Caballero said their move is a decisive step towards peace and stability in the province.
"This withdrawal of support signifies a rejection of the false promises and deceitful tactics employed by the CPP-NPA-NDF, and also reflects the dedication of NEPPO in countering the influence of insurgent groups,” Caballero said.
