Revilla denies MMDA report he used EDSA busway, wants to see Nebrija in Senate

Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. on Wednesday, November 15 said that there is absolutely no truth to the "malicious" report that he was apprehended using the EDSA carousel busway.
In a statement, Revilla explained that his daily commute is from the south to the Senate and there is no possibility he will be on EDSA in Mandaluyong.
"When attending to official functions in the north, I take the Skyway from and back to the south," the senator said.
"Kung totoo man na may nasita silang gumagamit ng aking pangalan, dapat ay ginawa nila ang kanilang trabaho na tiniketan ang lumabag (If it's real that they flagged someone using my name, they should do their job and issue a ticket to the one who violated the law)," he added.
Revilla mentioned that he will ask the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) to explain why his name is being dragged and smeared.
In an interview on DZBB, an irked Revilla stated that he was still in Cavite during the incident.
Revilla also refused to accept the apology of Edison "Bong" Nebrija head of the Task Force Special Operations (TFSO) who admitted in a separate interview that he did not personally see the senator and only relied on the report of one of his men.
"I want to see that enforcer, and I want to see Nebrija in the Senate," Revilla said.
"Humarap ka sa Senado. Kung talagang nagkasala kami ticketan mo kami, ipakulong mo kami. Pero yung ganyan sisiraan mo kami, mali yata yan. Magresign ka na. Hindi pupwede yung sorry-sorry (Face me in the Senate. If we really violated anything issue us a ticket, put us behind bars. But if you will malign us, that's not right. You should resign. You can't just apologize)," he added.
Revilla also stated that he will have the MMDA's proposed budget for 2024 recalled.
