Muntinlupa seniors, PWDs find work at fast food restos

The Muntinlupa City government signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with Muntinlupa franchises of Jollibee Foods Corp. (Jollibee, Greenwich Philippines, and Burger King Philippines) for the temporary employment of senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs).

Through the agreement, the city government has opened new opportunities for senior citizens and PWDs to have jobs and support themselves or their families.

Mayor Ruffy Biazon thanked JFC for being a partner of the city government in uplifting the lives of minority groups such as seniors and PWDs.

“What we have actually done is break through some barriers for our fellow Muntinlupeños particularly to PWDs and seniors.” said Biazon.

Seniors and PWDs who wish to apply for employment must visit the Office for the Senior Citizens' Affairs (OSCA) and the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) for evaluation.

Qualified applicants will be submitted to the Public Employment Services Office (PESO) for processing.
