GMA Network’s talented singers Mariane Osabel and Anton Paras emerged victorious at the prestigious 36th Awit Awards last Nov. 9.

The Clash Season 4 grand winner and Sparkle artist Mariane Osabel added another feather to her cap by winning the title of Best Performance by a New Female Recording Artist for her single “Pira-Piraso.”

“Thank you, Awit Awards, for making me the winner of Best Performance by a New Female Recording Artist. It’s another achievement for me and I am beyond grateful. Thank you, GMA Music, and thank you to my supportive family for always pushing me to strive to be better. To my friends and supporters who never failed to remind me to give my best, this one’s for you! Thank you, God, for this passion of mine. I offer this award to You,” said Mariane.

Mariane is currently preparing for the upcoming “Queendom: Live” concert on December 2 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Newport World Resorts, Pasay City. She will be performing with Asia’s Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose, Rita Daniela, Jessica Villarubin, Thea Astley, and Hannah Precillas.

Meanwhile, AltG Records’ singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Anton Paras was honored with the People’s Voice Favorite Male Artist recognition.

“First of all, I want to say thank you to Papa God and to my parents, my family, and my friends for the love and support. Thank you also to my GMA Music and AltG Records family for trusting in me and what I have to offer. Of course, sa aking mga fans na nagbigay ng time and effort nila in voting. I will use this award as a motivation for me to keep on improving and developing my talent and create more music that can inspire the youth of today,” said Anton.

Anton recently released his latest single under AltG Records “Can’t Wait” on digital platforms worldwide.
