According to the PRO 13-Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division (RIDMD), 148 crime incidents comprised of 68 Peace and Order Indicators (POI) and 80 Public Safety Indicators (PSI) were recorded from October 29 to November 4 and these went down by 22 to 126 – 62 POI and 64 PSI – from November 5 to 11.

PRO-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft attributed this to intensified police operations, anti-criminality drive, police-community relations activities, and the relentless support of the community and other stakeholders.

Kraft said the POI comprises the totality of index and non-index crimes while the PSI categorizes incidents and culpable felonies that reflect the public safety situation of a particular community.

"This accomplishment is the result of the collaboration of the PNP and other law enforcement agencies, local government units, the people, and all stakeholders in the promotion of peace and order,” he said. “Let us keep this momentum to ensure public safety and internal security."
