The MPL Philippines Season 12 champions were quick to assert their might, opening their campaign with a 10-4 victory over the Americans before following it up with a 11-4 count over the hometown bets in the best-of-one round robin group stage.

Kyle “Kyletzy” Sayson shone the brightest for AP.Bren in the opening game, putting up a 4-1-3 line on the Nolan pick.

The Bees slowly but surely built a lead that went to as high as 6k golds after winning several skirmishes across the map.

That allowed Kyletzy and the rest of the crew to pick up their core items before scoring a wipeout in a clash down bottom lane to go for a one-lane push that ended the contest.

Feeling the momentum of the first game win, the Filipinos showed no letup in the second game, shrugging off the early resistance of the Dewa United to quickly seize control of the contest.

Dewa’s tower fell one after the other as AP.Bren was relentless in converting every pick-off into valuable objectives.

Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo set the tone for the rout with a 5-2-2 line on the roaming Arlott pick while Marco “Super Marco” Requitano added a spotless 3-0-6 line on the Bruno pick.
