2 men arrested in shabu buy-bust operation in Pateros

Pateros police arrested a high-value individual and a street-level individual in a drug buy-bust operation on Nov. 23.

Personnel from the police station’s Drug Enforcement Unit nabbed the two men, identified by authorities through aliases Botong and Teban, on Rosales Street in Barangay Sta. Ana, Pateros.

The arrest was implemented when an undercover operative, posing as a buyer, successfully purchased a plastic sachet containing suspected shabu from the suspects.

Three plastic sachets containing suspected shabu were also seized from the suspects.

The confiscated drug evidence, weighing one gram, was valued at P6,800. Two P100 bills used a buy-bust money were also recovered.

The suspects were brought to the Pateros Police Station for documentation.

They will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
