Widower shot dead in Cebu

CEBU CITY – A 39-year-old widower was fatally shot in front of his son in Barangay Tabon, Dalaguete town, southern Cebu on Monday night, November 13.

Benvinido Ambrad Entice succumbed to a bullet wound in the head.

Police said personal grudges could be the motive of the crime.

Operations to arrest the suspect identified as Alvin Tangpos are underway, police added.

Investigation showed that Entice and his son were talking inside a hut when the suspect arrived.

The suspect drew a gun and shot the victim, police said. The suspect fled after the attack.

Entice was taken to the Argao District Hospital where he was declared dead by the attending physician.
