QCPD, NPD seize more than P780K ‘shabu’ in buy-busts


Operatives of Quezon City Police District (QCPD) and Northern Police District (NPD) seized P787,712 worth of suspected shabu in buy-bust operations in Caloocan, Malabon, Valenzuela, and Quezon Cities from Nov. 10 and Nov. 14.

QCPD Kamuning Station (PS 10) identified one of the the suspects as Paolo, 45, a resident of Barangay E. Rodriguez, Quezon City.

Report showed that the PS 10 operatives in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) conducted an entrapment operation against Paolo after a concerned citizen tipped off his drug-peddling activities at around 12:05 a.m. on Tuesday  on Cambridge St. in Brgy. E. Rodriguez, Quezon City.

A police officer acted as a poseur-buyer and bought P40,500 worth of shabu from the suspect, which led to his arrest.

Operatives confiscated from the suspect around 50 grams of shabu worth P340,000, a black pouch, a cellular phone, and the buy-bust money.

Meanwhile, the Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) confiscated P136,000 worth of shabu from one “Alfie”, 37, a resident of Barangay 120, Caloocan City.

Operatives of CCPS seized from the suspect around 20 grams of shabu P136,000 during the buy-bust at around 3 a.m. on 2nd Avenue in Barangay 120, Caloocan City.

Meanwhile, members of Malabon City Police Station (MCPS) arrested suspects alias “Jeff”,46;  alias “Allan”,45; and alias “Jay”, 36, all residents of Malabon City, in an entrapment operation that led to the seizure of around P175,712 worth of shabu.

The operation was conducted at around 12:30 a.m. on Nov. 10. at the corner of McArthur Highway and Riverside Street in Barangay Potrero, Malabon City.

Moreover, the Valenzuela City Police Station (VCPS) confiscated P136,000 worth of shabu and a .45-caliber gun with three ammunition from alias “Denver”, 31, of Gen T. De Leon, Valenzuela City, in a buy-bust operation on Nov. 10.

The arrested suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, police said.
