President Marcos leaves the country Tuesday night, Nov. 14, to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in San Francisco, California, in the United States where he is also slated to visit two more cities.

He will be visiting three cities in the United States, starting in San Francisco, then in Los Angeles, and Hawaii.
It will be his second trip to the US this year, following his Washington, DC, trip last May.
The President will attend the APEC Summit in San Francisco from Nov. 15 to 17, and will travel to Los Angeles and Honolulu after.
One of the highlights of his trip will be his visit to the US Indo-Pacific Command in Hawaii upon the invitation of the Indo-Pacific Command.
His visit to the command, according to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), will add a layer to the country's advocacy for a rules-based orders in maritime areas.

He will also push for deeper cooperation in health and modernizing health systems and to ensure that Filipino health professionals are recognized and provided with the welfare they deserve.
According to the DFA, Marcos might have bilateral meetings with other leaders "but as the schedules and logistical consideration keep evolving, we are not able to confirm any at this point."
He will also lead a Philippine economic briefing and meetings with top US companies and will meet the Filipino communities in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Honolulu.
This will be Marcos' third trip to the US since assuming the presidency in 2022. He first traveled there as head of state last year for the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) held in New York.
