Man wanted for illegal drugs arrested in Las Piñas City

A man wanted for illegal possession of drugs was arrested by members of Las Piñas City Police Warrant and Subpoena Section (WSS) and Station Intelligence Section (SIS) during a manhunt operation on Monday, Nov. 13.

The Southern Police District (SPD) said  the suspect, identified as Darwin Train, was arrested at around 8:00 p.m. along Ruth St., Barangay Manuyo Dos, Las Piñas City.

Train was placed as the top nine wanted person for the month of November.

The suspect was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Anne Beatrice Aguana Balmaceda of. Las Piñas City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 200 on Oct. 10, 2023, for the service of sentence.

SPD director Brig. Gen. Mark Pespes lauded the seamless cooperation between members of WSS and SIS of Las Piñas City police.
