Malabon residents with reproductive health conditions to get financial aid
The Malabon City government announced on Monday, Nov. 13, that it will provide financial aid to patients with reproductive health concerns in the city.
The program was spearheaded by the City Health Department (CHD) to assist the male and female residents with reproductive tract infections (RTIs), human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), acute immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS), other sexually transmittable infections (STI), breast malignancies and gynecological illnesses and disorders.
The beneficiaries will be given P10,00 each.
They should submit a valid identification card, certificate of barangay indigency and a copy of the medical abstract of their condition/disease at the CHD office located on the 8th floor of the city hall.
The local government said the program will only be available to those who have not received the cash aid last April 2023.
It added that beneficiaries may submit their requirements until Friday, Nov. 17.
Qualified beneficiaries will receive a text from the local government regarding the schedule of the payout for their cash aid, the city government said.
The local government said that residents may coordinate with the CHD if they have any questions about the program.
