DOH responds to alleged Covid-19 PH vaccination 'data leak' in WHO
The Department of Health (DOH) on Tuesday, Nov. 14, confirmed that it has received reports that the Covid-19 vaccination data from the Philippines stored within the World Health Organization (WHO) have been "compromised and leaked."

Issuing a statement, DOH said it is closely coordinating with WHO and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) to verify the authenticity of these reports and assess the extent of any potential data breaches.
Interventions, if required, will be implemented accordingly, DOH said.
Meanwhile, DOH assured the public that "additional information" will be released as soon as it becomes available.
Related to this, the health department noted that measures are in place to safeguard data privacy, and the security of DOH-managed data systems has been reinforced through various security solutions.
In light of recent hacking incidents and data breaches, the DOH urged the public to remain vigilant and take the necessary steps to secure their digital information.
