DOH issues warning against 'false' endorsement of osteoarthritis cure
The Department of Health (DOH) issued a stern warning on Tuesday, Nov. 14, regarding a misleading promotion that falsely used the name of Secretary Teodoro Herbosa to endorse a supposed treatment for osteoarthritis.

“This endorsement is false. Neither the DOH nor the Secretary has endorsed any such product,” DOH said.
The department is considering working together with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other pertinent government organizations to look into these misleading advertisements and prosecute those who are behind them.
It emphasized the importance of seeking validated information from legitimate sources and official DOH platforms, which can be accessed via the links and social media outlets provided.
