DepEd thanks Comelec for 'timely release' of honoraria for teachers, personnel in BSKE 2023

The Department of Education (DepEd) on Tuesday, Nov. 14, extended its gratitude to the Commission on Elections (Comelec) for the “timely release” of the honoraria for teachers and personnel who served in the 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE).

“Based on the report submitted by Comelec, 100 percent of our personnel have received their election honoraria,” DepEd said in a statement.

Meanwhile, DepEd also thanked the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO), the Philippine National Police (PNP), the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and other relevant agencies for “rendering technical, legal, and security assistance to our schools and personnel.”

“DepEd is one with the nation in hoping for a stronger and resilient Philippines with the help of our newly-elected Barangay and SK officials,” the agency added.
